Annual Business Meeting -Cancelled

Our annual meeting that is normally held during the month of May has been canceled for 2021 due to the COVID19 pandemic. We did not feel we could safely meet at this time. As always, we will continue to share information throughout the year via e-mail and our website www.knollwoodwest.org

HOA Dues 2021

HOA dues are included with this newsletter and are due by May 31st.

Neighborhood Garage Sale

Mark your calendars for Friday July 16th and Saturday July 17th! KW will host just one neighborhood garage sale this year. As in years past, we will advertise in the local newspaper and on social media to help spread the word.

Project Approval

Are you planning a home improvement project this year? If so, please submit a project approval request (prior to starting your project) per our website www.knollwoodwest.org which will be forwarded to the Architectural Control Committee for review.

Neighborhood Block Party

In years past we have hosted a neighborhood block party in the summer. Unfortunately last year it was cancelled due to the pandemic. We are hopeful to be able gather again this year but will wait until it gets closer to make a decision. Stay tuned!

Friendly Reminders

*As the weather warms up and we start working out in our yards, please do not forget to evaluate your home for structural mold. This would be a great time to consider power washing your home. If you need references for service providers please let us know, we’d be happy to help

•Holiday decor—if you haven’t already please remove any outdoor holiday decor items, including holiday lights.

New Residents

In the year 2020, we welcomed 20 new neighbors in Knollwood West! This is proof our neighborhood continues to be a desirable neighborhood in Granger. Thank you to our residents for the love and attention you provide your homes as we all benefit!

Interested in volunteering?

Have you ever considered volunteering within our HOA? We have current board and committee openings and would LOVE to meet some new neighbors! Come join in on the fun! Please contact us via our website to find out more. www.knollwoodwest.org

Post Light

Do you have a post light? Did you know that per our covenants, we are required to have the post light turn on at Dusk and off at Dawn? We have found many of our neighbors are unaware of this covenant. You can find a ‘smart’ LED bulb at a local hardware store with a sensor that will turn on and off by itself for around $6 that will last many years.

Street Light

Is the street light by your home burnt out? If so, please email us at webmaster@knollwoodwest.org. We will contact Indiana- Michigan Power to get a crew out to fix it as they require an account number from our HOA to service the fixture.
